Do you dream of sharing untold stories about our city of Richmond? Do you have family legends, speculations, or critical perspectives for Richmond’s future that could make for a great tale? If so, we invite you to contribute story ideas for a new project by artist Marinella Senatore, commissioned by the Institute for Contemporary Art as part of the inaugural exhibition Declaration (April 21 – September 9, 2018.)

How will my story ideas be used?
Artist Marinella Senatore will draw on your submissions to create the outline of a new radio drama. She will then work with a cross-section of Richmond citizens to develop the radio drama in 2018, which will be performed as part of Declaration.

Who can contribute?
Submissions are open to everyone! Not all ideas will become part of the final performance, but all those who submit ideas will be credited as contributors to Richmond: Symphony of a City.

How to contribute?
Please submit your story idea in a maximum of 500 words, and further questions to by Sunday, January 14, 2018.
