Community Conversations with the Institute for Contemporary Art

We want to hear about your hopes and dreams for what the Institute for Contemporary Art — ICA for short — can do to be a convener and catalyst for VCU, Richmond and beyond.

Join us — your voice is important in shaping the future of the ICA.

RSVP now by following the links below. FYI, we’re talking to the VCU community first so if these dates and times don’t work, sign up and stay tuned. More dates will follow for wider conversations with the Richmond community. Download the flyer (PDF) >>

Tuesday, March 28; 12-1:30pm, VCUarts Depot
Monday, April 10; 5-6:30pm, University Student Commons Theater

You talk and we listen. Radical.

Since we’re going for full transparency, we should say we would like to tell you a little bit about our plans for October 28, 2017 and beyond. We’ll be brief but you’ll get the inside scoop. You’ll also get to ask questions and tell us how you hope the ICA can connect with the VCU and Richmond communities. Through these conversations, the ICA wants to engage with the VCU community — including faculty, staff, and students — to spark dialogue before construction is even complete.

At the end of this opening series of conversations, we’ll prepare and share a summary of what we’ve heard. Join the conversation and be part of the history of the ICA!

P.S. Remember you’ll get some cool ICA swag and free cookies and coffee.
P.P.S. And we’ll be super happy to meet you!
