Brad Eisenhauer is the Exhibitions Photography Intern for the Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He is currently in his senior year as an undergraduate BFA student in the department of Photography & Film at VCUarts. Eisenhauer has spent the past two summers interning in New York City, working as an assistant to Matt Licari and Caroline Tompkins. For the summer of 2017 he received an Internship Support Grant from VCUarts to pursue professional experience.

In the past during the academic year while in Richmond, Eisenhauer has worked as an intern for Sediment Arts as well as Scott Brown’s studio known as the Pixel Factory. At the ICA he will work to organize and edit the library of photographs during the construction of the Markel Center, as well as document the remaining days of the current office situation and once it is moved to the new building.

After graduation Eisenhauer would like to pursue a career in the publishing industry, starting off as an assistant editor or in the role of a photo editor. In the future he has hopes of getting in the position of a creative director.
