Daniel A. Nemer is the Visitor Services Manager at the Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is responsible for helping provide a positive visitor experience, ensuring the safety of all guests and works of art, and assisting in creating a seamless Membership enrollment process.
Nemer earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2007, where he majored in History and Psychology. After relocating to Richmond, he joined to Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in 2010 for the opening of their expansion project. As Lead Museum Associate, he facilitated the visitor experience for numerous blockbuster exhibitions from around the globe, and as a member of the museum’s Staff Association and Employee Engagement Task Force, he aided in creating an enjoyable and cohesive work environment for those around him.
Nemer brings more than 15 years of customer service experience and a passion for the arts to the ICA, and he looks forward to helping create an inviting environment for students, artists, the Richmond community, and guests from around the world.
