Maggie Mills-Dlugokeski is the Executive Assistant to Director Lisa Freiman at the Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Mills-Dlugokeski brings more than fifteen years of experience making the lives of busy executives easier. She has supported the leadership of several notable academic and government organizations. At the ICA she serves as the primary coordinator of the Director’s daily activities and manages the workflow of the Director’s office.
Before joining the ICA, Mills-Dlugokeski was an Executive Assistant at the Supreme Court of Virginia supporting the Access to Justice Commission. Prior to the Supreme Court she supported the Director and Deputy Director of the Space Telescope Science Institute, a multi-mission operations center for NASA, located on Johns Hopkins University Campus in Baltimore, MD. There she gained experience working in a collegiate, political, and multicultural environment with people from around the world. Additionally, she acquired several years of customer service training and experience while working for Verizon Communications. Her last position with Verizon provided administrative support to the Director of Construction for the state of Virginia.
Mills-Dlugokeski is currently completing a certified administrative professional, and an event planning certification, and plans to continue her studies in business administration.
